Global knives were first launched onto the market in 1985. They represented a massive leap forwards as they were the first ‘one piece’ stainless steel knives ever seen on the high street.
From an initial selection of 12 blades in back in 1985, the Global range has grown to over an impressive 100 pieces, ranging from large chefs knives to the smallest of paring knives, perfect for intricate tasks. Each knife is hand crafted in Globals parent company, Yoshikin’s factory in Niigata Japan.
The original design brief for Global was to create a series of chef’s knives that would appeal to both professional and amateur chefs, they would be comfortable to hold and meet the most demanding cutting standards.
Globals impressive reputation comes from 30 years of pioneering design and experience, to then winning multiple awards for their excellent cutting edge design and technology. Each blade is created with balance and poise only achieved by Global’s inimitable design, filling the handle with sand. Making global knives one of the most unique and iconic brands on the market.
