We love talking about food, and giving our customers the best advice to help them to cook for all occasions!
With some of the sunniest climes in England and proper sandy beaches, a visit to Bournemouth has always been a treat.
We found an irresistible spot for our new Steamer Trading shop when we opened in 2007. The Grade-II listed Gervis Hall, originally built as a private house, overlooks the Victorian Lower Gardens and is just a short stroll to the seafront.
From the Real Eating Company café on the first floor, some of the best views in the town can be enjoyed whilst sipping a great cup of coffee.
Once you’ve finished window shopping (we have a lot of them!), come inside our store (they’ll be a warm welcome) and enjoy taking your time choosing or just browsing – it’s all part of what makes a perfect day out in Bournemouth. Our friendly team are very knowledgeable too, and they’re always happy to help with anything you need to know.
How to find us
Steamer Trading is located on Gervis Place, which runs between Westover Road and the Square. We’re facing the Lower Gardens, right opposite the Tourist Information office.
From Old Christchurch Road, walk through the Arcade and you’ll find us on the right, just a few steps down the hill.
Car parking is close by, including the Pavilion, Central and Winter Gardens car parks.
Bournmemouth is well served by train and bus links.
Our Bournemouth shop is fully acccesible, but if you have any special requirements or would like any assistance, please let our staff know – they’ll be very happy to help. There is a separate café on the first floor accessed via our lovely staircase, but unfortunately there is no lift.
